Auburn, Ala. - On March 1, 2024, Auburn Police arrested Ladairs Obryant Bell, age 28, from Auburn, AL on a felony warrant charging him with rape first degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a report of a sexual assault on Jan. 23, 2024. A victim reported that a sexual assault was perpetrated at a residence in Auburn, Alabama by a known acquaintance.

Ladairs Obryant Bell was identified as the suspect, and after further investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained. Bell was located by Auburn Police Department officers on March 1, and he was arrested in obedience to the warrant.

Bell was transported to the Lee County Jail and held without bond pending judicial review.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
